Second day

So, here I am with another day that leaves me without words. It's an amazing thing to be here with these kids. Most of them have so little, but yet they're so happy. 

I know for sure now that I want to do every thing I can to sponsor little (click)ollie. Hard to say I know...I fail almost every time I say it. She's alway's smiling and seeing her in person is just something else. Lol...I often wonder if she's at all scared/weirded out by me being all white...but hey...she seems to like me :). 


Pray for her and her family though please. They're in a though spot. The picture you see that's above you is actually one that was taken at her home. She lives on a home stead with 16 other kids. 11 of which are siblings I believe. When we asked them for prayer request the first thing her mom said was to pray for the kids at night because the demons where attacking them. 


This whole country is kinda like that...very spiritually rough. And to still see these kids going and smiling away...it's just amazing. 


Lol...on a lighter note I think the other ladies on the trip are getting jealous of me ;).  This is an EXTREMELY male dominated culture, and that comes out during the home visits. It's custom for the men to sit in any charis that are there...even if it is just a big rock. While the Women get to sit on grass mats on the ground. The men are also supposed to get the most when stuff is handed out. :P Men, Women, then Kids. (Did you know one of the care point moms thought I was 24 or 25!?!?!?!? And she really did mean it). 

Tonight we at at a really good restaurant. I had some lamb that really kicked butt!!! The chefs here need to learn how to get chips(fries) crispy though...they really kinda fail at that. 


So How are things going for every one else back in the states? Good I hope?


Well...I think that's proly all for now. Please keep these kids in your prayers and your thoughts and well frankly your giving too if you can...they really need it...
